Here at AMG, team culture is extremely important to us. We are FAMILY! Once a month, we will spotlight one of our gurus and give you an opportunity to see who you are currently working with or could be working with in the near future!
Favorite quote:
As an avid reader, I have so many quotes that I love. But one quote that sticks with me daily is from my childhood, from Ms. Frizzle, on The Magic School Bus - "Take Chances. Make Mistakes. Get Messy!" To me, this means not taking life too seriously, always find adventure and always make sure that you're growing and experimenting.
What is something [people in your industry/niche] have to deal with that you want to fix?
Despite all the communication tools at our fingertips, I feel like people still struggle to truly connect. Connection is essential to building trust and successful relationships in business. As a Marketing Coordinator, I want to always be a point of communication, fostering trust and building meaningful relationships.
What do you do at AMG?
I am a Marketing Coordinator - my job is to collaborate with my Marketing Directors, ensuring that their plans are both achievable and achieved. Although I'm still in training, I already love that the work between the Dealerships, Marketing Directors, and Marketing Coordinators is very give-and-take - it's not a hierarchy, and everyone works together to achieve goals and success.
What are your credentials/past experience, for working in your position?
Before AMG, I worked as an Executive Assistant to the CEO of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices’ real estate division. While the real estate and automotive industries might seem different at first glance, they’re similar at their core—both focus on high-value transactions and building trust with clients. Ultimately, it’s about understanding the customer and helping them through the decision-making process, something I’ve always been passionate about.
What do you like about working at AMG?
The people are the best part of working at AMG. Joining a new company in a new position can be nerve-wracking, but I’ve felt at home from day one. Everyone is welcoming, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive. Even during the interview process, I knew this was a special team I wanted to be part of.
What are the values that drive you?
Honesty, fostering open communication, curiosity about the world, and always showing up - both personally and professionally - are my core values.
Your top 3 favorite Movies/TV Shows?
The Harry Potter Movies, Caddyshack, and The Empire Strikes Back. Don't ask me to list my top 3 favorite books because I couldn't do it!
What would be your dream vacation?
I was lucky enough to take my dream vacation a few years ago. My husband and I spent a week in Napa, enjoying wine tastings and life-changing dinners, and then drove north to the redwoods, where we stayed in a cabin and hiked the forests for another week.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
When I'm not working, I love spending time with my family - my husband, Lee, and my one-and-a-half-year-old son, Cal. I love sharing my passion for reading with Cal, and while he hasn't quite caught on to cooking with us, I love having him help us in the kitchen - as both Lee and myself adore cooking and trying out new recipes.
